Navi-Trainer Application: Simulation/Modeling, Training and Certification. Description: The Navi-Trainer series of navigational simulators range from the flexible single PC to the networked bridge and radar simulator systems based on real hardware. Navi-Trainer software varies from desk-top programs for onboard training and assessment to full mission college complexes incorporating 3D visualisations, Navi-Sailor electronic chart systems, ARPA/radar, Navigational aids (GPS, Decca, Loran-C and Automatic Radio Direction Finder), mathematical ship models and real ship controls. The Instructor workstation includes an Exercise Editor, Active Situation Display, Alpha-Numeric Display, Analyzer, Selective Radar and Visualisation Monitors.

Comprehensive training in Bridge Team Management may be implemented using a networked configuration. The modular structure of the Application Simulator Software allows setting up any reasonable simulator configuration both in the number of the workplaces and in the composition of each workplace. Over 60 Transas' databases for areas of navigational activity are available. Alternatively, specialised software (Data Base Preparation System), enabling the customer to create specific databases for any maritime region of the world, is available. The system may also include Mathematical Ship Model Editor allowing the creation of unique mathematical ship models.

The full range of Transas software products may be incorporated as interactive modules for the most realistic training and assessment of seafarers in full compliance with requirements of the revised STCW 95.
